Nonprofit Economic Data Bulletin #26 | Lester M. Salamon and S. Wojciech Sokolowski.
Presents new information on employment in America’s charities, drawing on the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages (QCEW), or ES-202 data system, operated by state employment security offices in collaboration with the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and a new annual survey of volunteering carried out by the U.S. Census Bureau as part of its Current Population Survey. The report covers the full nonprofit workforce, including both paid and volunteer workers.
