Produced by Statistics Norway this third nonprofit institutions satellite account examines data from 2010. Including the value of volunteer work, the gross value added of nonprofit institutions was estimated to be NOK 101 billion in 2010. Voluntary (unpaid) work constitutes 60 per cent of total value added in the sector. Value added calculated without unpaid work was NOK 42 billion in 2010 which is about NOK 1.2 billion more than the year before. 80,105 paid employees and 115,149 unpaid full-time equivalent persons contributed to this value added.
