Description

Based on new Bureau of Labor Statistics data on nonprofit employment and wages in 2016, this Labor Day news release shows that, between the pre-recession year of 2007 and 2016, nonprofit employment grew by nearly 17% while for-profit employment grew by less than 5%—a 3-1 nonprofit advantage.
