Project Team

PROJECT TEAM. The Center worked with the ILO Department of Statistics and an International Technical Experts Group to develop the ILO Manual on the Measurement of Volunteer Work. Now that it has been published, the Center has partnered with volunteer promotion agencies to form the European and Global Volunteer Measurement projects to promote implementation and coordinate the processing of the resulting data. The European Volunteer Measurement project (EVMP). To celebrate the European Year of Volunteering 2011, the Center has partnered with The European Volunteer Centre (CEV) and Centro di Servizio per il Voluntario del Lazio (SPES) to disseminate, promote, and support the implementation of the ILO Manual in Europe, resulting in the European Volunteer Measurement Project (EVMP).
 

The Global Volunteer Measurement project (GVMP). To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the United Nations International Year of the Volunteer, the Center has partnered with the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) and Global Service Leaders (GSL) to disseminate, promote, and support the implementation of the ILO Manual in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, resulting in the Global Volunteer Measurement Project.
