Presented on 8 March 2016 during “Measuring the Contribution of Non-profit Institutions, the Social Economy, and Volunteering to the Economy and Well-being,” a side event to the 47th session of the United Nations Statistical Division in New York, this presentation explored the statistical revolution taking place in the measurement of NPIs and the third sector around the world, and highlights key additions to the upcoming revised edition of the UN Handbook on Nonprofit Institutions in the System of National Accounts.
